I like the look of irons. I’ve been struggling with adding them to my Mauser 35 Whelen build. I don’t have a jig ($350 plus), or a mill. So I can do a banded front and a receiver sight mounted on a scope base. That setup will cost at least $200. That puts me half way to another Leupold scope (spare). I’ll have to be content looking at them in the books.
