There is only one way to reduce this fever. Great pictures, Guy. I recognise one or two as those you took. Did you take all of them?

Hi Guy thanks for the photos. I hope that everyone has a great fall as it is all about to start or in some cases already has.
And in the famous words of someone Getter Done

Blessings,
Dan

Guy, Im more than ready!!! Ive got 7 deer tags, an either sex antelope tag, a wolf tag, and an elk tag to fill this season! Only thing I didnt buy was a black bear tag and I still might get one. Come on October!

Dr Mike - I took all of them except the photo of the bear family. Dad took that one while on a fishing trip to Kodiak Island a few years back.

Hi Deertracker, what are you going to be using to harvest those deer?

Blessings,
Dan

Thats the hard part! 6 of the deer tags are antlerless only. So Ill probably shoot one with my bow, one with my 243, One with my 7-08, one or two with my 30-30, and one with my 270 Win. I dont really know but that is the fun part! Ive got quite a few rifles to choose from so It will just depend on my mood that day! My birthday was yesterday and my parents got me a new game cart so Ill hopefully be able to put it to work this fall

Those are all nice pictures for sure...

The bottom one makes me wish "party hunting" as it used to be known was still legal. I know Grampa Rusty is rolling in his grave because one reason he loved that fast acting old Lever action 300 Savage was because of opportunities like this to fill two tags!

Dad claims that he saw Grampa Rusty shoot deer at nearly 400 yards on two or three occasions with that old gun and a 4x scope on top. That's knowing your rifle.
