This is going to go for a good price!

I hear you, Joel. Precisely such a situation arose for me this weekend. This acquisition of fine firearms is a disease.

And, what did you get?

A couple of Model 94s chambered in .307, a .338 Federal build and the disclosure that I have a 9.3X64 Brenneke being built. Oops! "But you have enough rifles," she said. "To do what?" asked the village idiot. "To shoot," said she with a decided edge to her voice. "Oh, look, a squirrel," I said just before fleeing out the door.

A 9.3x64 Brenneke!

How cool is that. You don't see those every day. That should be an outstanding moose and bear gun. What are you building it on?

Scott

It is being built on a Winchester (FN) action with a PacNor barrel. It gets a Swarovski Z6 1.7-10X42 with the TDS reticle. I've waited patiently. I am in hopes that I will have it for fall bear and moose to test in the field this fall.

I wont even start down the wife/rifle talks. I could write a small book I think. It would be a comedy for me and a tragedy for her I believe.

I have heard alot about this 9.3 Destroyer! I am getting pretty amped to see what it does once it is unveiled.

I'm amped to see it! I may have to start complaining more vociferously about how badly I "need" that rifle this Fall.

At your age Mike, most folks don't see it as complaining, they just know it is the nature of your maturity level!

Looking at Dan's new rifle, I am thinking it is going to be a stunner.

Yeah, Scotty, at my age, there aren't that many hunting seasons left! They need to be considerate of me so that I can use what I ordered.

Even at my young age I want to use what I order!
