Timney springs!!!

Today my Timney springs arrived for the 270 and 7mmRM A-Bolts. After 10 minutes, both rifles were back together and now have great triggers. When you order the springs, you get 2 in a pack. One 2# and a 3#. I put the 2# in the 270 because it had a heavier factory pull than the 7mm. I do not have a scale, but just from my feel, they are very close to each other and are nice and crisp. I don't understand why they sell 2 springs in a kit if you only need one but in my case, it worked out well. Now I am hoping those nice groups really shrink.

If you get really brave, i have stoned and shaped the sear and trigger to break even more crisp on the A-bolts. It's not rocket science but what i did was just kept taking material off the trigger with a fine stone until the sear was almost about to break and then adjusted the over travel. Got a nice crisp trigger with no creep now.
