Tired girls

Got back to the truck with a pile of birds this afternoon, the girls jumped into their crates before the obligatory photo. They earned their rest.

Looks like a beautiful day with well trained dogs in some good bird country. Reminds me of hunting birds years ago in North Dakota with friends and a well trained Lab named Josie. Thanks for sharing.

That is, indeed, a most attractive series of pictures. Yeah, I imagine those pups were tired.

Poor girls, no more hunts until fall. We may do some ptarmigan hunts in August if we find good numbers this summer. Not certain how much guiding we will do next year, we're going to wait and see.
