Tuesday range day

Went to the range early this morning to try a few loads with my Winchester 300 Win Mag
and i found my load. This is a the cheap Model 70 (Walmart special) that was given to
me by my sister after her husband lost the battle to cancer. I removed the paddle type
stock and installed a Houge overmoulded on with the full aluminum bedding. this was
the best load i shot this morning after shooting H1000, Rel 22, IMR4350 and IMR7828ssc

Nice shooting and really nice velocity for that grouping for sure! Sorry to hear about your BIL loosing his battle as I have some friends/relatives fighting that same battle! Condolences!

Thanks Hogwild. i've had this gun in my safe now for 3 years and didn't start
messing with it until this summer. I was trying different combo's of powder and
bullet, but mainly focusing on the 180 AB's since i had a bunch of them. the gun
shoots great groups with 165 AB's using 7828ssc.

cajun, there is nothing wrong with that load . The 300 win mag with 180gr. pill is a lightning bolt..
