Two identical groups.....what should this tell me?

I haven't really had many issues up to this point. Seems like the 264WM heats up the barrel a little faster than the others, including the 270WSM. I think it is still fine, but I am getting a third shot a little further out than I want. I may slow up with this one just a hair. It is planting the first two on top of one another and the third is going 3/4" out. Not a show stopper, but there is some room for improvement. Scotty

Good thoughts Rod. You are so correct. Never seen anything stand around for a second shot while I wait for the barrel to cool. My technique if you will is just for groups. Those "one hole groups" give me "internet bragging rights" and not much else. I would tend to agree about the bedding to. Mostly because the stock is kinda a home made thing and a little thin in the grip. I really like it or I'd just order a new one from Boyds (course there is the money thing....) CL

Most of the earlier Model 70's will shoot Scotty, sometimes you may have to skim bed the lugs or a land in the forend tip. Work with it, I am sure that it will come around.
