Up Close and Personal

Holy crap! That is CLOSE...

You call them in close like that Mike..... If so, I am coming.. Save me a warm spot on your floor!

That is amazing footage! I had a Shiras bull smell my boot in Wyoming while I was sitting in snow bank off a migration trail with my .270 Win, hunting deer.

Yeah, I've called them in that close; but I was holding a rifle in my hands at the time. I've had them close enough to touch them with my barrel. This particular video is pretty amazing, if only because it was captured for all to see.

Consequently, he was a fair-sized moose. There was a lot of arrow sticking inside, but it sure didn't penetrate all the way through that big boy.

Mike, he was holding that bow a LOOOOOOOONG time. Even with 80% let off, that was a LONG hold. Couldn't have had a huge peak weight for him to do that.

Oh man, that was awesome.
I have moose fever!

Yeah, it makes me want to be hunting again, and I can't get up close and personal with moose until next August. I may have to settle for wolves and lynx.

Wow that was sure close. Looked a little to far back? Hopfully they found him.

Corey,

The arrow found its mark. If you noted in the article, this was a 249 1/8 P&Y bull. He has been confirmed.

That was great my heart is still pounding. I used to quiver like that after the shot but I was shooting a rifle. I would have peed my pants before that bull got that close. A great video !
