I Just got my first "Smoke Pole" And was just curious, what is the ball park on velocitys for muzzleloaders? I am clueless about muzzleloaders. All I know is that they are a lot of fun to shoot.

Here is a chart from BP bullets for muzzleloader ballistics. They have a small range of powder charges and bullet weights with listed muzzle velocities.

Mine is a traditional .50 cal T/C. One hundred grains of Pyrodex drives my favorite 385 gr Hornady great plains .50 cal lead bullet at about 1500 fps. It had no problem killing mule deer when I was enthusiastic about muzzle loading 10 or 12 years ago.

The modern muzzle loaders, and their sabot bullets, see considerably higher velocity!
