Vortex Viper 4-16x44 HS Review

I purchased a Vortex Viper 30MM 4-16x44 HS last year and has been working well. I have hunted with it, and lots of target range from sunrise to sunset. The scope turrets have been precised with lots of turning. The duplex reticle has thin cross hairs which is nice for hunting. The optics are nice and work well in low light conditions. Eye relief is good, no complaints.

I really don't have anything bad about it other than it could be lighter in weight. The price for the scope is great for the options you get. Of coarse the more you spend the better the optics, but for a medium price scope with a great warranty you can't beat it.

Good to hear. I'm pretty happy with my Vortex scopes (four of them, I think).

The Vortex is mounted on a 260 Rem with Talley LW 30mm rings. They also have been lapped. My friend turn me onto Talley rings, and I really like them!
