Weatherby series 2 SUB MOA

It is indeed a good price. The shooting public can only benefit from such efforts.

I know why they don't do it, but I wish more interesting chamberings were offered. WSMs in SS, 7mm Weatherby in SS, 6mm or .240 Weatherby, .338-06, .280, .340 Weatherby.

I agree. Those Vanguards are alot of rifle for the money. Overall, the two I have had shoot well and are pretty decently put together rifles. Plus, their plastic stocks are actually pretty high quality compared to the Winchester and Remington stocks I have ran across. Scotty

That is pretty good bang for the buck.
BK, I agree that additional chamberings would be a good thing for Weatherby.

Many new upgrades in the new rifle, I might buy a few, one in 7mm and have it re chambered in 7mm bee. Not really sure, so many options and to many wants when it comes right down to it, where does it end.

They're also one of the only rifles out there wearing a 24" barrel in standard chamberings. I want one in 243Win for coyotes!

Whoa, will a 7 Wby clean up a 7 RM chamber?

Last I looked most remingtons still wear a 24" pipe but it has been a while.

I got an email about these a few days ago and they look very promising. I would really like to see one in person.

Up until recently, Remmys were all 22" barrels in standard chamberings. I'm not sure about now, but I seem to recall the switch back to 24" with the CDL.

Of course, that says nothing of my issues with Rem QC, and the fact that while I'd buy a Winchester, Browning, Savage, CZ, Sako, or any number of other bolt guns right now, and of course, a 'bee, without having to say, I won't buy another Rem until I'm convinced they've fixed their QC issues. The last "brand new" Rem I bought was horrible, and I now place them squarely in the same camp as my POS Dodge truck. I believe if Rem and Dodge are all that's offered, I'll go horseback with a bow...

I will have to agree with that statement, but mine was with the marlin (Owned by Remington) Their customer service is not very helpful. the only answer I can get is call back in a week. I should say the gun was ok until things started to fall apart and brake.

So, dubyam, why don't you tell us how you really feel?

Man, you have really laid that out! I agree with half of your statement though! Scotty

I'm a Gm man but I like the way the new dogde looks, and what the offer.. As for Remington they look good in the catalog, but I've seen to many horror stories.

Yeah, those Ram trucks are junk, but Remington does put out a nice rifle, when the stars line up correctly. Sometimes.
