I really like my Nosler M48 TGR in 7mm-08 and how the Nosler components are working in it right now giving me superb accuracy. I am leaving Friday with my Grandson to go to Arizona and when we get back on the 25th, I am ordering the VX-3 2.5-8x36 with the Nosler Logo engraved on the side from Nosler. My 6x is tracking great but I thought since I spend the money to by the Nosler why not dress it up with a Scope that will be perfect for my 7mm-08.

Here is my worst target to date of my hunting load 140gr AccuBond, Nosler Brass, W760, Fed 210 primers, three shot sight in group. I stop by the range and a friend of mine let me slip into his spot, and I fired these only 30 seconds apart with a 22 mph cross wind at 100yds. I can't wait for the Leupold to sit on top this rifle.

Very nice shooting Mike. That 2.5x8 will be about perfect on that rifle. Scotty

Yeah Scotty, with the velocities and ballistic and the style of hunting I do, I think the VX-III 2.5-8x36mm will be just about perfect.

Yes, I have owned three of them in the past and it was my first real good scope for hunting years ago. I killed 52 coyotes in a year and a half using this scope on top a 30-06 Ruger shooting 165gr HPBT, with the average shot being 290yds, closest was 60yds and longest was 426yds. Good scope!!!

Yeah, I have three, and I'm always looking for more. One's going on my Whelen, one on my .325, and one on my .358.

yes Mike, this rifle is for sure a keeper and I can't wait to get back and put the engraved Leupold scope on this rifle, it will just make it complete indeed.

That rifle is the reason why I'm going to use a Pac-Nor on my project. Awesome shooting and congratulations on a great rifle.

Thank you. It is a shooter!!! This ten shot group measures .416" with the called flyer and without the called flyer, the 9 shoot group measures .216". Needless to say, I will be using a lot of 140gr Accubonds, W760 powder, Fed 210 primers, and Nosler Custom brass.

I haven't had a Pac-Nor blanked rig shoot over a 1/2 moa yet.
Good,,,err, great barrels they make.
And again, I agree on the shooting too.

Come on over i'll let you shoot a pacnor that has never shot under 1" at 100yds. It can shoot 4" 5 shot 100yrd groups on bad days with 140gr ballistic tips. With 160gr it shoots 1" 2 shot groups 2 1/2" 4 shot groups. With 175gr sierras it has shot 1 1/2" 3 shot 300yrd groups. One of my worst hunting purchases. Was spending $535 for the 7mm rem mag 26" stainless match, having the action trued and barrel mounted. By pacnor. The world is not all rainbows and butterflys

They are good barrels. My 378 did 1.5" at 300 yards.
