What a great spring. I was a little worried about our flock in NW Wisconsin due to the nasty winter, but the birds where I hunt had a lot of standing corn to eat all winter which helped them. I had 3 tags for myself plus planned on calling for two buddies and my dad for a total of 6 tags. I am happy to say we went 6 for 6. I was able to shoot a 24.75 lb bird with and 11.5" beard and 1" spurs. Hours later, I called in two birds for my buddy. After a miss, I called them right back and he got one. A week later, I shot the second one. My dad got a nice bird with a 10" beard and 1" spurs. The second buddy sat right where I told him and he scored on a 3 hour hunt. My last hunt I shot a jake at noon. I was going to pass him but after letting him walk the night before and family obligations, I pulled the trigger to end 2014. So 5 gobblers and a jake later, I am already planning for next year.

Here are some pictures of 4 of the 6 birds. I did not get a picture of dad's bird on my phone and I was not with my buddy when he got his.
