WHAT ACCUBOND SHOULD BE NEXT?

I know you probably don't want to hear this again, but 6.5mm Accubonds in 100gr (deer, antelope), 120gr (bigger deer, antelope, caribou) and 140gr (long range, BIG deer, elk, etc) weights would be purchased by me in volume. I wouldn't be the only one. Thanks!

Like all our websites, we need to catch up.

The new AccuBonds are now on our site.

I am updating the "whats new" section.

Sorry for the delay.

The following weights/caliber in an AccuBond would be sure winners! I'd stock up on all of them. Love the 140 gr .284!

100 gr .257

130 gr .277

165 gr .308

Add me to the 130gr .277 list. Then tell Federal to load them until I can figure out how to come up with some extra $$$ to get into reloading.

Here's the Accubonds I would like to see:

120 Gr .277
160 Gr .277
90 Gr .243
200 Gr .358

How about a 70gr in .224 for the AR guys and a 170 gr .323 for the folks with 8mm Mausers and 8mm-06 that want something tough but fast for deer and the 200gr .358 has some merit as well (maybe soft enough to work in a 35 rem t/c out to 150yds?) just some thoughts from a novice.

one more thought how about two or three weights in 6.5mm? 115 and 130? or maybe 110, 125 and 140? cover the entire spectrum that way.

We REALLY need some high B.C. 6.5's in the AccuBond. I am sure there is a great market for them. At least in western Co. and Wy.

Here's my AccuBond wish list

95gr .243 for smal deer with my 6mmBR
250gr .358 for moose and bear with my Norma magnum
400gr .416 for even bigger things with my Rigby

All of the suggestions were interesting. For a summary of my thoughts I would echo everything that SU 35 said. In other words light for the caliber bullets and they don't have to be the same weight as Ballistic Tips in each caliber.

I shoot about 3000 handloads a year. Most of the bullets used to be Sierras but the new, to me, plastic tips attract me and Sierra only has a few. Nosler has been a pioneer in this and the 55 gr 6mm is a breakthru.

Now I am spending more and shooting Ballistic Tips. I am tired of being cheap and I would spend even more on Accubonds.

I use nothing under 6.5 mm for game. The ones I would use the most would be 110 grs in .277" and 120 gr's in .284. I would also use some of the announced 150 gr .308" and a new 170 gr .323".

I would be happy to see 120, 130 and 150 grainers in .277", also 168 grains bullet in .308"
