WHAT ACCUBOND SHOULD BE NEXT?

If you'd make a .416 AccuBond bullet I'll buy them. I 'm using Barnes x and I really hate them. Something in a 350 or 360 grain would be great.'

I want a 325.....Perfect for everything (except maybe the big 5)

I would vote for a .243/ 85-95gr, a lighter .257 perhaps 90gr, and sure (I'm from Germany) a 9.3 (.366) in something beetwen 230-250gr

The deer on my lease run real small.A very large buck might go 160-180 lbs.I want to shoot a 168 AccuBond, but no dice as of yet. What do you guys think of a 150 AccuBond,.300 Winny,@ 3350 plus,if I can get the 1/2" accuracy which is my goal and achieve quite regularly with other bullet weights?I have been shooting brand "X",but with very SMALL wound channel and no blood. If I don't put one down "right now" it would be very hard to recover.Your thoughts?
Nosler-any guess when a 165-168 AccuBond might be available?
Thank you,
Jimmy

If you're looking for quick one-shot kills, the 150 @ 3350 should give it to you. The only drawback is meat damage if you hit the shoulder or any other large bone.

I nominate the 130gr / 140gr .264 / 6.5. Personally I shoot the 6.5x55 swede in a new production Ruger M77R-MkII with a 1 in 8 twist. However im sure there are enough others out there shooting 6.5 Grendel, .260 Rem, and even the old .264 WinMag to make production worth it. The Grendel would be especially interesting to see.

So:
--130gr. 1st choice due to Rate of twist in both .260-1 in 9, and 6.5 Grendel - 1 in 8 twist.
--140gr. 2nd choice as the .260 may have problems. But the Grendel and 6.5x55 would love it.

Peace

Edit was to correct Grendel twist.

One vote for a .264/120g & another for a .308/165g.

Did'nt see a link to this site on Nosler's main site, is there a reason for this or did I just miss it?

Thanks, Oreindian

I sure wish Santa would bring me a few boxes of .416 accubonds for christmas. 350gr. would be nice to find under the tree. If I were to leave milk and cookies (or pizza and beer) maybe he'd leave some .338 accubonds in 250gr. too. I been good Santa. Really!!

Hi NOSLER, I think that if nosler made the AccuBond in 9,3mm around 250grs I can almost garantee u that the swedish and other european hunters should jump of happines. With a 250 accu we would have a new superb bullet for plains game in africa with the high BC and a bullet for all 9,3 hunter to use on deer and wild boar all over europe.

250grs would be perfect, i think a 286 would be to long.

The 9,3 market just groves bigger and bigger here in scandinavia and other parts of eastern europe.

How about a 30 grain 20 cal to make the .204 shooters happy.......just kidding. I vote for a 165 grain in .308

125 gr 6.5mm, it should make sweet music in 264, with a healthy dose of IMR-7828 or H-4831SC.

Saludos...Frank

I would like to have a 6mm 95 grain AccuBond bullet. It would immediately become the number one hunting bullet for .243 rifles.

kv

I hope for a 8mm 180grs AccuBond.

A fine partner to the 180grs BallisticTip and also very fine for all 8x57JS users and also for the new .325WSM for deer hunting.
