What are your favorite bullets?

I'm not sure I've had too many rifles that a Ballistic Tip didn't shoot well in. I've harvested a lot of deer with various BTs. I've used the Partition and AccuBond as well. I don't hunt at all with big bores, my primary hunting rifle is a .25/06.

For hunting, Nosler is the only bullet I use. I never have to worry about them performing perfectly.

22 Hornet: 45 SP Hornady "Hornet", night hunting varmint/predator
22-250: 60 Hornady HP for predator, 60 V-max for varmint (more explosive)--both shoot same poi
260: 120 Ballistic Tip, for coyote/antelope/deer--now working on reduced H4895 load for daughter
6.5x55: 129 SP Interlock, deer, general purpose w/light recoil--should be great for one of the kids
7mm-08: 140 AccuBond, deer/elk--wife's big game combo, extremely accurate and deer don't go far
280 AI: hoping for good accuracy with 150 TTSX or 160 AccuBond, need to start experimenting
30-06: 150 SP Interlock, antelope/deer--rifle is my late pappy's sporterized 03-A3 so I developed the classic load to go along with the vintage style rifle and old redfield "accurange" 3-9x scope I found for it.
7mm Rem Mag: 160 Partition, deer/elk, extremely accurate and has accounted for 286 yd and 352 yd (straight on neck shot) kills on deer so far--my M70 hates the 160 AccuBond, unfortunately, but groups the partitions into 1/4-1/2 MOA :)

.223 Rem 40 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, 50 gr Ballistic Tip, also shoot a few V-Maxes and Hornady SXSP and regular SP's. They are cheap and accurate, but nothing launches a gopher like a 40 gr B-Tip or V-Max at 3600+ fps out the muzzle. I do like the hornady 55 gr SP with cannelure for the AR-15. Nice versatile, accurate bullet that can be had in bulk for a good price
.243 Win Nosler 70 gr Ballistic Tip for varmints including coyote, Nosler 95 gr Ballistic Tip for deer. Have great accuracy with both bullets. Would consider the Partition for deer but haven't been happy with the accuracy or the cost of the bullets.
6.5x55 Hornady 129 gr SP, as well as the 140 gr SP. My Howa just won't shoot the 120 gr Ballistic Tip with any consistency, and the AccuBond was very disappointing in that rifle. Guess I will just settle for the cheap yet effective red box product. Would probably opt for the 140 gr Partition if I was considering taking an elk, but would probably just use the .270WSM
270WSM 140 gr AccuBond Super Accurate, take anything bullet/cartridge. Also like the 130 gr Ballistic Tip as it did a great job on my 2 whitetails in MT this past fall. The Speer 90 gr TNT also works well and I would consider it for varmints, but the .270WSM would be my 3rd choice for that purpose. Probably would just opt for the 130 gr Ballistic Tips that are already loaded for deer, if the opportunity arose for coyotes or rock chucks.

old 22-243 middlestead 55g ballistic tips " great for anchoring coyotes just hard on the fur"
6.5x47 lapua 130g berger vld
6.5-284 140gr amax coyotes and steel 140 g berger vld deer and elk "amax more accurate"
30-338 190g berger vld
old 338 ultra 225 AccuBond longest kill to date with that bullet.
have 250 80g jlk's in .224 but waiting on my new middlestead to finish to try them will keep you posted.

22-Hornet: 45gr Speer Spitzer SP and Berger 40gr HPV.

270win: Hornady Ammo with 150gr Interlock Spire Points. I will start reloading it with Nosler 140gr Accubonds and Partitions.

35rem: Rem 200gr Corelokt RN (best 35rem bullet made)(2180fps).

358win: 200gr Interlock Spire Points, 225gr Hawk RT, will load Nosler 225gr Partition this year, I got 2430fps with it in work up loads. Still looking for a 220-225gr bullet thats cheaper that the PT.
