.458 350gr Partition. The Partition would be in the same position in relation to the front of the bullet. All of the new weight would be added to the rear. I have been in the process (until time constraints brought it to a halt) of starting a samll ammo mfg. for the last couple of years. I have probably done as much real world field and lab testing as anyone I know of. In particular I have had the 300gr PP all over the continant and it has done a very good job. It has shown itself to be a great bullet. With a slightly longer shank its incredible penetration would have to increase. This would open a few more doors for the already incredible bullet. reflex264

+1

The 45-70 and 450 Marlin would really shine with this offering.

Would also be nice for the 458 Win too.

Yes Sir! The .458 with the 350 would gain quite a bit. I have thought about a specific to .458 spire point Partition maybe 450-475 grains. Well even the .460 Weatherby could benefit but I doubt I ever own a .460. There is a real gap in the .458 diamater that needs to be filled. reflex264

I would have loved to see either a 220gr Partition or AccuBond in 8mm whan I had my 325WSM. I liked the 200gr ones but bought the 325 to shoot 220 grainers.Oh well, thats what I have my 30 cals for. :p

I also agree that Nosler needs a .458 bullet. The 458 Winchester Magnum with a Partition would dominate African game along with moose brownies etc. Now if we can just get it done!

Couldn't miss this chance to wave the banner for the .416 A/B in something near 350gr. The perfect elk caliber for timber with the capability of reaching out 400yds. I do it now with HOT CORES but they come apart too easy at 2600fps up close. Untill then the .375 and .338 RUMs rule the roost.
Good Hunting
