Hi All,

As a newb here, I'm trying to understand the difference between the different rifles nosler makes. I can see the pricing is Custom $3000 > Legacy $2600 > Professional $2500 > Trophy $2000.

As each price point is raised, what exactly are the new/improved features that a person gets?

Also, just as a point of curiosity, anyone know how does nosler rifles compare to the Mark V Accumarks from Weatherby?

Thanks for any info in advance. :D

The Nosler M48 uses its own action. They use PacNor barrels. The various models have additional features such as stock, bottom metal, trigger and coatings.

One thing- they are all a lot of rifle for the money, which as you can see- isn't an insignificant amount. Of course- price isn't the biggest consideration in something intended to last generations if you have it to start with.

Lasting generations is a big goal of mine. ;) Anyone use them and able to compare to a different rifle of the same class?

They are semi-custom rifles, and any semi-custom rifle produced today will perform very well.

Ah ok, so it's really a matter of which rifle feels like a better fit for me then?

In no small measure, that is the issue. However, with the plethora of semi-custom rifles available, and the nominal cost even of custom rifles available here in Canada, it is virtually impossible to actually handle all the potential rifles you might wish to consider. The name of the manufacturer, in the event of some problem (which happens in the best of cases from time-to-time), becomes important. Nosler stands behind their workmanship, offering a product that will meet a high standard.
