Nice looking rifle. But for that short a distance, I would use a 45-70 open sights. I have trouble when having to snap a short shot and using a scope. And I can easily keep the group reasonable (for killing) inside of 150 without a scope. That is exactly the back up rifle that I used when guiding hogs and large game in a rather thick forest.
