I like that it doesn’t apply stress to the tube.

Those rails at the bottom are very common over here in Europe.
Can be a bit of a pain to find bases sometimes, since they are specific for manufacturers and you can't swap that easily between guns.
But Zeiss, Swaro, Meopta, ... all have them.

And I’d imagine companies with reputations like Zeiss, Swaro, Minox, etc, pretty much have it dead-on.

Leica makes a great scope, just not a fan of that type rail system on any scope. I am a Swarovski nerd, was offered a scope with that style rail for dirt cheap, turned it down and later wished I hadn't.
