Where you headed this fall??

I am taking JD338 and my boy for lopers.
I am taking my boy prairie dog shooting in the summer, Elk in October and Mulie hunting.

Song dog & Yotesmoker,
Just submitted for license today hoping to head your way to Colorado this fall to hunt Muley Bucks the 1st combined season. Looks as if we are packing in with horses to set up camp. I spotted a whopper buck where we hunted last season. I killed a 30" Buck in 2002 and have seen several bigger in my years hunting Colorado but last year that old boy by far was the largest. I'm excited to hopefully get back there. :) The very reason I'm working on tuning the 300 Ultra mag. with 180 Accubonds.

Plan to pick up a leftover cow license later after the draw.

Spring Gobbler opened here today, lots of Turkey's as Tennessee is a very rich Turkey State.
Tennessee allows 4- Gobblers to be taken in this season!!

Went trout fishing the other Saturday, caught 6-Trout in 2-hours, had an awesome time.

Don

I am trying to get myself together in order to hunt in Oregon with Elkman for elk. Then I will also hunt around Va, probably some in NY with family and maybe a trip to Michigan or Minnesota to hunt with JD/257 Ackley and my other mates in the North country. Scotty

Well, I applied with for my Oregon elk tag this morning, in order to hunt with Bill. I am thinking that Brian (Woodycreek) might be going with us. Right now, I am on a hunting high, and still have A LONG TIME before the season gets here, but it is a good start! Scotty

Getting moto here also!!! Thanks for the invite Bill and Scotty!

I am going to apply for "one" of two late season cow hunts, one near Challis. Or one near Soda Springs, been there twice now with two elk, however they keep lowering the tag numbers in the late season hunt. Both have good success ratios but I haven't been up to Challis for a few years and I like the area. I will have a dog tag in my pocket if I go there.!
