IMR powder has entered the muzzleloading market with a product called, White Hot. It is a preformed pellet for inline muzzleloaders who use a 209 primer.

I have read one article where they tested the whitehot pellets against the 777 normal and magnum pellets....

Shooting a 250 grain sabot........

2 777 standard pellets = 1539 FPS
2 777 magnum pellets = 1528 FPS
2 IMR White Hot pellets = 1712 FPS

Here is the IMR webpage if anyone is interested...... http://www.imrpowder.com/white-hots.html

Here is a link to the article I was talking about, it is about the new ML Leupold Ultimateslam scope which I was researhing and also the white hot pellets.... http://gunsandammomag.com/cs/Satellite/IMO_GA/Story_C/About+a+One+Hole+Muzzleloader

I also noticed that Powder Valley is already stocking it....

If anyone shoots this stuff in the near future be sure to post up a report. I will be working on a new gun/scope & loads during the off season

What was the mag pellet velocity? I know the advertised 2 mag pellet and the 250gr was equal to 3 reg pellets it should be higher. I am guessing 2000fps?
