Who are we

Well - was born and raised in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Moved to western WA in '82, went to school - got married (24 years next week) - have two kids (girl and boy). I work in the Pulp and Paper Industry as a Process Control Engineer and Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
My time is being capitalized by my granddaughter. She and my daughter live with us now while she finishes college. I am sure having fun with this little girl. I tease my daughter about how she is going to be in the newspaper being the littlest Steelhead fisher-person catching the biggest fish with grandpa.
My son has been in the boat and woods since he could walk and has taken many whitetail and a few elk already at 18 years old.
My wife just started hunting with me about 5 years ago. I tease her about be only a blue bird weather hunter but she manages to get her deer each year so far.

I mostly hunted archery and muzzleloader until I moved to Idaho in 2003. Since then I've been reloading and shooting rifles year 'round.

Something I miss a lot!! is Clay bird shooting. They shut down our gun club a few years ago and I can't believe how much I miss it. My son and I used to shoot twice a week except during hunting season.

I've learned a lot here from the site. Years of experience and wisdom to be had. Thanks!!!

Bill

I am 43 years of age and work in construction, right now I work for a company that does mostly exteriors of houses, windows and doors and also some interior work as well. We have worked some long hours this summer cladding our big mall here in town. I have worked mostly in construction here with some time also spent logging, tree spacing and one summer tree planting. I am thinking about becoming a Christian councelor and am contemplating on line bible school to start down that road, there are lots of hurting people out there that could use help. I have been married since February 12 2011 to a much better woman than I could have ever hoped for. Was thinking about the Trace Atkins song "Ladies love country boys" which could sum both of us up, the city girl married a guy who grew up on a farm out in the bush. Even though we are so different in some ways we are a great match for each other and our core values are very similar. My wife has started to enjoy the life of a hunter gatherer and this year has really taken to canning food for us, she works in doing adoptions for the B.C. government. Canning and the outdoor life has been a way for her to escape the emotional demands of her job and see something tangeble for her efforts. Naturally I love to go out fishing, hunting, hiking and of course reloading. The site here at Nosler is my favorite place on the net to visit, lots of good guys here that I wouldn`t mind sharing a hunting camp with
