Who are the specialty pistol shooters here?
Pictures and descriptions please.

I target shoot and hunt with a Competitor Arms 30.06 pistol. It wears a 15 inch barrel/muzzlebrake and a Burris 2X7 mid barrel scope. The action is a Cannon breech which is extremely rugged. I also have a 7MMX08 barrel that I have never used. Changing barrels is extremely easy and any number of calibers can be used. Accuracy is in the area of 1 inch at 100 yards and it has accounted for 7 Whitetails. Unfortunately the company (located in New Hampshire) has closed its doors and products are no longer available. This gun was way ahead of its time when it initially came out as literally any caliber you wished to chamber it in could be produced. .22 Rimfire was also possible with a few changes in the breech.

diverdown,
I have never used one. I had several conversations with Art over the years, about making one with a longer forend. I was sad to see it fad away.
The MOA Maximum is no longer around either.

I have used a t/c contender and encore for years. My current one is a 338 federal barrel on my encore. I have taken several deer with 35 Remington barrel on contender and 22 hornet and 223 barrels for varmints.

I have a T/C Contender with barrels chambered in 7-30 Waters, 6.5 JDJ and 375 Winchester. I've never taken anything with the 7-30 Waters and shoot the 6.5 JDJ out to 300 yards. I have shot deer with the 375 Winchester. I've also shot a hog with a 309JDJ.

Excellent. It would be great to see more handgun kills.

I have killed a few deer with scoped revolvers.

I own one specialty pistol, it is a stainless/synthetic Encore in .243. It wears a Bushnell Elite 2-6.

It really likes 90gr accubonds.

Unfortunately, it also repels deer. I have carried it many times and deer disappear! Carried it 2 days straight, saw nothing. Took my 7wsm out and within 45 min had my choice of deer

My Smith & Wesson 629 Classic 44 Mag has taken a few deer and a couple hogs over the years. The accuracy at 50 yards off the bench is amazing.
I have had different scopes starting with a Leupold M8 2x20mm, VX-3 2.5-8x32mm and now a FXII 4x28mm.

Very neat pictures, Jim. And, yes, that is sterling accuracy out of that pistol!

Until NYS opened my area up for hunting with a rifle, I used a Remington XP 100 R for a few years. It was chambered in 260 Rem. and I had a hand load for a 120 gr. BT that would shoot M.O.A. I think I killed about 17 deer with it and other folks killed a few more.

I used it for a year or two after we could use rifles and then I finally switched to a rifle for deer hunting. A young friend of mine decided he wanted it more than me and I sold it to him.

With a little help from Pete, the guy who bought the pistol, here is a little video of how I used to hunt with it:

That is a great holster design and video.
I sure like that XP100 260 Remington.

Nice set-up and a nice video.
Me and my kids used a 14" 260 Rem MOA Maximum and killed deer, antelope, and elk. the 120 NBT is a great killer. It also does a great job of ringing steel past 500 yards.

I just carry mine, sling, or have it is a scabbard in my pack or in my pack.
Also when slinging it, and crawl stalking, I will put the sling over my neck and it is very handy with a QD release handy, to get into action quick, if needed.
