This fatty was just bedded down in my neighborhood watching traffic go by. Guess he knows where it’s safe to hang out. And who put out the fresh corn. when I stopped to take a pic he stood up and started walking up a hill into the road. Not a care in the world

My mother has the same in her development. She goes out on her deck with cut carrots and calls them. They come out of the woods and go right up to her. She has been doing this for 30+ years.
It's pretty cool to watch.

It’s funny how they can adapt and make a living in these little patches of woods between the houses. We’re about 8 miles from town, and it’s a subdivision, but there’s little 3-6 acre pockets of woods between the houses. But they manage to thrive.. even the dogs don’t pay them any mind.

He is definitely in great shape. There must be girls around for him to hang out there at this time of year.

I can believe it. Haven't seen a deer while hunting since last Tuesday but every evening I come home they are running in the neighborhood. 6 tonight in the front yard. Wish I could transplant them:D Dan.
The last 4 days of our rifle season the only deer I saw were in front of my truck asking to get hit.
