Why i'll never buy a savage rifle

I just cant bring myself to buy one of these rifles, no matter how good the trigger is and how well they shoot because they have there name and that indian on the bolt just staring at you....just a horrible eyesore. IMHO.

Anyone have luck buyinf replacement bolt shrouds?

Funny - I gave sone of the guys that I have hunted with a ride to my father -in laws land last weekend, so they could do a little scouting. I brought my Savage along thinking I would get in a little squirrel hunting in while they did some scouting. One of the guys was "done" in twenty minutes and wanted to go home..... :evil: As I was putting my rifle away, he says, "hmm, one of those ugly Savages... I bet it shoots better than you do.... :shock: I drove him home the 120 miles and he stiffed me for gas money...... He dont know jack- Bubba can pick a rifle, and he aint dumb enough to step in it twice.....CL
