I have my bullets and brass for my .303 coming tomorrow (Wednesday). Also, a collet bullet puller and .308 collet to rescue 50 new brass and the bullets that were left over from groups I did not fire all five, because I was not satisfied with while doing load work for my 300Win Mag over the last 10 months. :)

Wait a minute, doesn't a .303 use .311 bullets, or have I been reading loading manuals while getting into the bourbon again?

Yes the use .311 or .312 and most .303's were .312. The collet bullet puller is for my 300Win mag

I use a 416 cal to pull 10mm ammo, Close nuff

Hey BK, don't worry about it, I figured you are like me and sometimes scan the text and with so much on your mind your brain takes short cuts, I know mine does.

Thanks BK! Bourbon sounds good so I'll pour a shorty full of Woodford Reserve to enjoy while I read some posts.

MG, if you can find some, give Michter's a try. Smooooooooth!

That Woodford Reserve is good stuff, too!

Whatcha goin after with that 215 woodleigh? Would be dyanamite for moose I suppose. Let us know how it turns out, I shoot several .311 rifles, one of which might get to go moose hunting someday. I shoot the Hor 174 RN over IMR 4064. Devastating on deer sized game and really accurate from my Mosin Nagant hacksaw sporter.

I'll take Wisers Deluxe 18 barrel aged anyday.

The .303's were for the most part .312" that is what the Woodleigh 215gr RN is, and the bullet was designed by Woodleigh specifically for the .303 to open at velocities of the .303. This bullet will work great on deer, hogs, black bear, elk or moose. I will be using if for large boar in the Old River Swamp. But I will have know problem using it on deer because all accounts I am aware of that used this round on deer were very impressive. It is considered by many to be the only bullet one needs on medium size to large big game when using the .303. I am sure everyone has his favorite, but as for me it will be the Woodleigh for the simple reason that it will stop what ever I use it on.
