Winchester M70 416 Rem, 1st range trip and I’m impressed.

Took out the model 70 again today with the load I settled on. Fired a three shot group, then removed scope. Scope is in warne QD rings. Then put scope back on and fired another three shot group. Was very happy with with the small amount of zero shift. The 300 tsx load has definitely earned a spot for next deer season. Now I’m nice the woodliegh 340’s arrive I’ll work on them.

Main trick with the QD's is to use the same torque when reinstalling after removal...this should help mitigate shift in poi.

I’m working on getting used to the feel on the levers. Trying to pay attention lol. Definitely making sure I push the scope forward before I tighten them.
