WWII sniper, 1000 yard shooting video

Guy, thanks for posting this. I remember reading about this in the American Rifleman but could never remember to look for it online.

Truly amazing shooting for any man, let alone someone 84. 3 shots in 5 inches at 1000 yards? Wow!!

A heart-warming account of the sort of respect that should be accorded each veteran, especially those who are nearing the end of their days with us. Thanks for posting this link, Guy.

I remember watching that show, it choked me up then and it choked me up again today.

I lost my dad in 05 he was also a WW ll vet, I have seen this video several times now and it choked me up again today.

amazing..they don't call them the greatest generation for nothing..

what caliber rifle was that...308 or something bigger?

Believe the old WWII rifle was a .30-06, and the newer Remington is a .308 Win. At least that's what I picked up on.

Thanks for putting us on to that video. The honor and respect is heartwarming from new to old and does bring a choke to my throat. The best and the bravest are still with us.
