Pretty sure this could be pulled off Bill. Moose isn't too bad in Eastern Canada and there are alot of them. Might have to keep this in mind for the future...

I currently have 10 points.
I am within striking distance!

Gosh if we could only draw some Moose permits here. We are loaded with them and there are so many nice big bulls around Maine has to be one of the best "sleeper" spots left to shoot really large racked bulls. We had a fella a few years ago that told me he had spent $30,000 running to Newfoundland and Ontario over the previous 6 years trying to shoot a really good bull.
He got that accomplished here in two days and shot his personal best. NE Maine and W New Brunswick seams to harbor some of the nicest racks on both the Whitetails and Moose so not sure if its the ground or just the genetics ?????

That's a hammer of a moose. I am in for the draw, in your areas, but who knows how long that'll take to draw?

Well we will keep our fingers crossed for ya Scotty!
Hopefully you will get a chance to try that smokin load of yours from your 35 Wowlen!!

I probably should check out New Brunswick, just because I've never hunted the Maritimes. It may be hard to draw a permit for moose in WY, but there are some fine specimen shown in this brief video.

Mike,
Dont you dare come over this way without planing to spend a few days here with us in Maine. We would enjoy visiting with you and swaping a few old yarns................ I have tons of family and friends in the outfitting bussiness in NB, that could point you in the right directions........

Roger, that. It sounds like it would be a blast to journey over to the Maritimes; and I've never been to Maine!

and a Wyoming cabin to stay in!

My Maine Moose tag took me 17 years to get and that was before you could purchase multple chances. In 1999 I took a nice bull that weighed in at 802lbs. I'm still putting in with the hopes that I might get another one before I need a motorized wheelchair with chains on the tires. I was within 25 miles of the canadian border when I took mine.

My buddy's wife drew 2 Wy moose tags in 10 years!!!!

They shouldn't have charged for for that tag! He was probably an illegal immigrant (or is that an undocumented American moose?).

Best of luck!

I keep hoping to draw that Washington moose tag... Not likely, but possible. Heck, I might be older than Dr. Mike before I draw!
