Here's my Son's first Big Game Animal a Montana Antelope. This cost me, I told him if he shot one over 15 inches I would buy him a rifle of his own. I bought him a Remington 700 CDL 25-06 at the Mitchel SD Cabelas store on the ride home. He shot this with my Remington 700 6mm Rem.

A story that will become part of family lore for generations to come. Good for your son.
