What a great day at the range! My dear friends Mike & Dani and two other couples spent the day with me, learning about guns, gun safety, and shooting handguns. It was a hoot!
Mike Utley (yes the former NFL player) with the .22 Ruger target pistol. He did great! Mike is really quite a shooter, with rifle, pistol, or shotgun. Mike and Dani and I have been shooting together, off and on, for years.

And she didn't stop there. She was the only woman in the group to shoot the .44 mag and the .500 S&W. Yes, that little gal shot the big, bad .500 magnum:
We had a blast, literally... :grin: This was a basic handgun course. I've never pulled out the .500 before with a group of new shooters. It's quite a gun, even for those who are experienced shooters. They want to come back and do a self defense course, and an AR-15 class as well. We're all happy. That's good.
