Today was the first time out this year as expected some rust to shake off. Besides the H4350 Creed test and the Sub 308 , I tried out a new scope I mounted on the 375 Wby this winter. I had sent the scope I had mount on it back to Crimson Trace. I took a generic load of 270gr Speers and Hybrid 100V that shoots well and got decent results.

I also took the 257 Wby with 4 different loads. 3 of the Noslers were a bust but the Hornady 110gr ELD-X shows some promise.

Gotta find a 378 bee pic I just got from a friend, found it but I was wrong, a 375 pic. Don’t know this fella, his group arrived just before I left. I did bump into the buff however a couple of days earlier. Not sure how his nose got in the way.

Nice shooting for the first trip of the year. That 375 Wby group looks solid, especially considering you were shaking off some rust and trying a new scope setup. Interestingly, the 110gr ELD-X was the only load in the .257 Wby that really stood out. I'd be curious to see how it performs with a bit more load tuning. Thanks for posting the targets and results.

Nice shooting Rick. Your 375 Wby is a shooter. Seems to like that load.
