I would give the supercell a try. I have the supercell and limbersavers and they are both good pads, the supercell is really soft and soaks up the recoil very well, and I think they are only about 20 bucks.

My choice, in my rifle, is the 140 AB with H4831 or RL-22. It shoots good for me with starting loads to max loads.

Congrats on your new 1911. Does anyone know if the Remington 1911 is made by Remington in house or is it made by a sister company from the freedom group like the R-15, which is supposedly a Bushmaster with the Remington name on it.

I am using the .451 diameter 260 and 300 gr partitions out of my muzzleloader, they are not easy to find. I found 300gr 's at Wideners Reloading and Shooting Supply inc. They are showing them in stock for 24.00 a box of 50. I am loading them in my 50 cal accura v2 with MMP HPH 24 sabots. I...

I second the 69gr Sierra. Tiny little groups with mine loaded up with H4895. Another great bullet I have been using is the 53gr V-Max also with H4895.
