All I have asked for is just a confirmation that someone is looking into it. When they state we'll get back to you within three days, I expect someone to get back to me.
The disturbing part is I reallly like the Zeiss Glass - I'd highly recommend it and would even purchase another one short...
Congrats to everyone involved Jim ! Looks like some great steak in the freezer.
3min and some change ??? When are you coming back to CO ? I need to see that job performed on an elk
At least if it was Burris I was dealing with, I could take a 20min drive to their front door ......
I believe it was on Steve's Outdoor Adventures I heard that Burris purchased Steiner ?? :?:
sure wish you could get that 7-08 to shoot like you want Jake -
I'm starting to think it's a M7 issue. I can't stand to have every gun in my safe MOA and under and the M7 with the same issue you have.
Your 6.5 idea sounds great ! I alreayd know what the 130AB is capable of

I've been mullin this over for a while now - mostly due to the amount we do at night chasing yotes.
I'm almost starting to think one of the new Redfield reticles with the 50mm objective might do the trick.....
Something that allows a true x-hair, however contains enough aiming feature...

My thoughts exactly !
The only Savage in my safe is my kids cub T - little thumb-hole stock with accu-trigger. It's a sweet little rifle.
The predator version w/ 100gr B-tips  and yotes beware !
As far as that goes - an AI version could be accopmplished fairly easy...

I doubt one could really ever go wrong with putting another Remington 700 in the safe. I bleed Remington Green - however with that said, they are not the quality they once were back in the 70's & 80's that you mentioned.
What are you planning on using the rifle for ? I'd...
Going to take a look at it tomorrow -
Definately would like to start a RUM stable, but need it like I need a hole in the head.
The price is right and I could always restock it into another pepper laminate
Again - WOW !
They have even taken it one step further with the 1 in 8 twist barrel for the 140 / 142 gr bullets.
Really makes a guy think ( ok, done thinking - there is still room in the safe )

Night time yote hunting is without a doubt one of my most favorite things there is to do. However -
We've been lucky with private land to hunt - the DOW requires a permit be gained for this "pleasure" if you will,
but our vast expanses here allow for a lot of driving while using...
By chance does anyone know if the camo stock used on the Rem 700 7RUM in the RMEF rifle was anything special, or just the standard plastic fantastic std stock ?

Welcome to the forum.
Viht is some great powder and from my experiences, shoots very clean. I've never tried any of the N-150, but have used N-140 , N-165 & N-560 all with good results.
You might try and hit Viht's Site - you can download their manual. All the info I'm seeing, you...

There is nothing fancy about it, but from day one I've always used IMR 4350 & 150gr BT or SMK's - Once I started playing with different bullets / weights I started mixing up the powder a bit. I have never tried any partitions out of it, but every weight of BT alogn with both 130 & 150gr...
