Here in Michigan we usually have snow and I chase bunnies with my 28ga but there is no snow. So it will be skeet and sporting clays

What size shot do you use on those roosters? I've had good luck with high brass 5s or 6s.

Ive got a Zeiss Diavari on my Win 70 SS/Syn 375 and it works great. That rifle started out with a Leupy 2.5-8x36 but my BLR needed a scope so thats how it ended up. I dont think you can go wrong either way.

Yeah thats why I am only interested in the shorter cylinder calibers. The 45/70, 30/30, 500 s&w, 460 s&w, etc are just awkward to me. I like the 500jrh and would also consider 475 linebaugh although would have to special order the 475 to get a 5.5" barrel.

Ive been shooting Beretta autos for years. Soft shooting gas guns and they just plain run. I have a 30" synthetic A390 that is going on 2500 rounds between proper cleanings. I dont usually abuse guns but now I am very curious to see how many rounds it will take to stop it.
