    25-06 AI?

I've never tried 4350 or 4831. RL-25 is my "go to" powder with the 105's. Norma MRP and RL-22 are my second choices.

    25-06 AI?

M70, May I suggest a a 6-06? I was in your exact same boat recently with a 25-06, but went with a fast twist 6-06 instead of a 25-06 AI. If all your after is deer, hogs and coyotes, a 6-06 would fit the bill perfectly. It'll be much less hassle than an 25-06 AI, and with 105 gr bullets, it'll...

    Quick load for .220 swift

3900 from a 60 gr bullet is smoking. Gotta love the Swift. Have had mine for 23 years. Bought it new in 1992 and it's truly the one gun I would never part with. It's the most accurate factory rifle I own, by far! Just employed it for the first time as a hog gun this summer. It flat out hammers...

    Weatherby gunsmith recomendation?

Gent's, I have a Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in a 270 Wby Mag. I purchased a new Lilja barrel and I need it chambered(270 Wby)and installed. The gunsmith I've used for my last 2 builds flaked on me. I dropped the gun and new barrel off last November. He said it would be 2-3 months before it would...

    Ackley Improved

m 3450 with a 110AB out of a 257 Imp Bob??? Holy chit!!! I hope I'm not sitting next to you at the gun range when you touch one of those off. You're one trigger pull away from maiming yourself or others around you.

First Buck with the new 6MM-06.

6mm, This is the only pic I have at the moment. 243(95sst) on left and 6-06(105 Hybrid) on right. I think you'd really like the 6-06. It's so easy to load for. In addition, with the state of brass supply at the moment, it makes since as 25-06 brass is pretty easy to find.

First Buck with the new 6MM-06.

Yes, that's basically correct. The 6-06 has a skosh more powder capacity though. I'm simply taking virgin 25-06 brass and running it through a 6-06 FL Sizing die. No neck turning, trimming etc... Very easy. I almost went the 240 Wby route, but decided 6-06 in the end because I had lots of 25-06...

Any plan for Nosler to introduce a 6MM Accubond Long Range?

Since my hopes for a 25 cal LRAB are quickly fading. I was thinking a 100-105 LRAB would be a match made in heaven for my 6-06. Have any of you Noslerphiles heard any rumors of a 6mm LRAB?

First Buck with the new 6MM-06.

Cruddy day yesterday in Central Texas...cold and drizzly. Perfect weather for deer hunting!!:) Not the biggest deer I've ever shot, but I'll take it. 9 point, 110 yards with with a Berger 105 Hybrid at 3300. DRT. Bullet entered just behind the right shoulder, destroyed lungs and busted up the...

    Finally bloodied the 6-06

6mm, Here you go.... For comparison...243 95 SST and 6-06 with a 105 Berger Hybrid. The COAL on the 06 is 3.37 in or 40 thousand of the lands.

    Finally bloodied the 6-06

Haven't had much time for hunting since building the gun and the subsequent load development, but finally drew blood yesterday. Made a trip to our deer lease with the intention of thinning out the coyote population, but instead ran into a small group of hogs. Since we rarely see those prolific...

    Rem 700 .25-06, OAL start ?

I have a Rem 700 Classic 25-06, manufactured in 1990. I've found over the years, it prefers shorter oal's. The sweet spot with most bullets is always 3.20 oal or less.

Anyone ever tried necking up 270 Weatherby brass to 7mm Wea

Found a great deal on a 7mm Weatherby. I own a 270 Weatherby and have tons of brass for it. Was thinking I could save a bit of money and just run some of my 270 Wby brass through a 7mm Wby FL die. Anyone ever done this? If so, how did it work out? Were the necks thick enough? Any neck splitting...
