I have a Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in a 270 Wby Mag. I purchased a new Lilja barrel and I need it chambered(270 Wby)and installed.
The gunsmith I've used for my last 2 builds flaked on me. I dropped the gun and new barrel off last November. He said it would be 2-3 months before it would be complete. Called him in March and he hadn't touched it. Called again in May and also last week. Same story. I finally gave up and went and retrieved my gun and barrel. Anyway, I'm now looking for someone to chamber and install my new barrel. Seems I remember a guy who posts at the 24 hour campfire and or Weatherby Spike Camp who is a gunsmith that specializes in Weatherbys? Does this sound familiar to anyone? If not, any input or recommendations would be much appreciated.
