Just picked up a brand new S&W 431PD in 32 H&R magnum. I always wanted this cailber and the gun was discontinued last spring. Anyone have any inputs about this caliber in a snubby? Looking at 85 and 100 grain JHPs for concealed carry.

For all those wanting to hunt out west, now is the time for putting in all those hunting tags, building-up preference points, and generally dreaming about next season. Wyoming and Utah draws are allready open. Colorado, Montana, Nevada, and Idaho are just around the corner. Not to mention...
Thoughts on the best laser rangefinder you've used that works on deer sized animals out to at least 800 yards consistently. I know some are easy getting readings out to 1000+ on large objects, but I'm looking for precise readings in all weather conditions out to at least 800 yards, thanks.
OK fellows, what are your big plans for next year's big game season....anything special?
I'm hoping to do antelope in Utah and Wyoming; deer in Wyoming and Montana; and maybe a day or so hunting elk in Montana while I'm deer hunting there (depends on tags).
Otherwise, still saving bonus points...

They are finally having online applications this year and applications are being accepted 1 Jan.
I'll be putting mine in!
Is this round a serious all-around 400 yard varminter for prairie dogs through coyotes? What bullet weights? Anyone shooting the 50 grainers? What twist works best with the 40, 45 and 50 grain bullets?
Brad
Anbody pick-up any interesting special draw tags this year they've been waiting on for a couple of years? Nothing for me, just a cow/calf elk tag.
Brad
Anybody have any experience with this particular model. Looking to maybe get one for use on a varmint rifle as I don't care for 30mm main tubes, but still want parallax adjustment, thanks.
Brad
Anyone have a story as to how these scopes are working? Considering one for a 50 cal muzzleloader and a 17 HMR. I normally just like straight leupolds, but the prices are right on these now, especially for just normal, nothing fancy guns.
Brad
How about making some accubond muzzleloader bullets with a BC better than .3? T/C and Hornady have jumped on the bandwagon, but I know Nosler, if they wanted, could make a better long range muzzleloading bullet for deer/elk. Say a .45 cal 300 and a 340 and a .44 250 and 275. Dont give PR...
Just back from hunting antelope in Wyoming. Using my Savage BVSS 270 WSM with 150 grain Partitions. My friend Todd harvested a buck and doe on the first day at 318 yards and 156 yards, boy did those Partitions do a job on the front quarters. The next day I harvested a buck and doe at 402...
Okay let's hear it. Which one is better for Dangerous Game? They both are very similiar and only differ $100 in price from Cabelas. Looking just at the technical stats, I have to give the advantage to the 1x-4x because it has a much larger field of view at both ends of the magnification...
