    New Rifle 284 Win

Meredith Rifles of Athens, Al just finished building a 284 Win for me. Picked it up Friday. Mounted a 3-15x50 Zeiss HD5 with RZ800 and shot it Yesterday. Still haven't stretched it past 100 yds, but that will come. Very happy so far. Stiller Tac 300 Long Action, 20MOA rail Bartlein 5R, 1...

Just off the UPS truck. Now what?

I'm thinking 6.5 Creedmoor or 6.5x47L. 129 or 142 ABLR. It is a Remington Varmint contour.

Tried some 190 ABLR's in my 30-06 today

Tried 59 grains of Reloder 22 with a 190 ABLR in my 30-06. Fired the 100 yard group over the chronograph. Velocities were 2795, 2801, and 2807 ft/sec. Adjusted scope 3 clicks up and 2 clicks right after the 100 yard group and then shot 2 groups at 250 yds.

    7mm-08 and 150 ABLR

Initial loads for my 7-08 with the 150 ABLR. Hornady's new manual listed this charge weight with their 154 grain bullets for 2800 ft/sec. These chronographed 2849, 2855, and 2824. The first two shots are on the right, the third is on the left.

    Did some shooting this afternoon

7mm Rem mag by Stiller Savage Model 10 Predator Hunter Max-1 6.5 Creedmoor The shot labeled 7Mag would have been the fourth shot in the 7 mag group above. I knew I had a good three shot group so I shot at the other target. It would have clustered right in there with the two left...

You guys were right. 30-06, H4350, and 165 Accubond

I've been reading your posts about the 30-06 and decided to try H4350 and the 165 Accubond. I have been using 168 Ballistic Tips and IMR 4064. That load has accounted for 3 bucks over the past couple of years, and still works great. I am always exploring other options, its just my nature...
