I have two boxes of 30 Caliber, 200 gr Accubonds that the white tips are brittle and crumble to the touch.
Anyone else have a problem with these tip falling apart, or did I get a bad batch?
Nosler #7 has data for both the 223 and the 5.56.
The 223 data page list heavy bullets under the 5.56 name and also lists the same heavy bullet data under it's own 5.56 section(page).
Does Nosler test the 5.56 data at higher pressures than their 223 data and if so, why would this higher...
In you new #7 manual you list "Case Holds" "XX.X gr Water"
In my experience there are two type of H20 case capacity measurements.
One being "Case Water Capacity" which is the weight of water in grains that fits in the case under the seated bullet.
The other and more useful to the...
Looking through all the different data available in Quickload I found something I do not understand and could use some clarification.
When QL calculates a load the list several bits of information. One of these bits of info is "Muzzle Pressure".
It appears that the slower the powder the...
Nosler is offering SD handgun ammo with their New Bonded Tipped bullets.
Is this New bullet going to be offered as a component in the near future?

Is Nosler 5.56 load data loaded to 5.56 pressures or is it actually just 223 pressures loaded with Heavy bullets?
I'm aware that it is not recommended to shoot 5.56 ammo in a 223, so is Nolser 5.56 data Un-Safe to use in a 223 chamber?
Why doesn't Nosler list the Pressure numbers in their manuals?
All the powder manufacturers as well as Lyman list these numbers, why does Nosler leave them out?
Thanks
When posting QL data try this.
Type square bracket left, the word code, square bracket right. space. Square bracket left, /code, square bracket right. Past your QL data in the middle. like this.
Instead of your QL data looking like this.
Cartridge : .300 WSM (CIP)

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but my search came up empty.
I just picked up a K of Nosler 10mm-180gr JHP bullets to load in my 10MM and 40 S&W. I know this bullet is post Nosler #6 therefore no load data there. Does Nolser have any load data available for this new bullet in 40...
WOW, seems like the Nosler reloading forum has become more of a FREE Quickload forum then a reloading discussion forum. On the first page alone there are 43 posts with 9 of them being QL requests. What ever happened to paying for for products and services?
Holy Crap, I must be doing something wrong! I plugged data in for 10mm Auto and what a shock. I compared QL to published load data and they are not even close.
For example Hornady #7 lists 14.9gr of AA #9 with their 180gr bullets. Quickloads puts this charge at 112,671 PSI.
Here is my QL data...
What happened to all the seconds? It's been several months since the Pro Shop listed anything in just about every caliber. With the way everyone is stocking up and buying everything and anything you would think that Nosler is working overtime just to keep up with demand. You would also think...
I just purchased my first AR rifle. It is a Colt HBar II in 223 with a 1-9 twist.
I have a bunch of .224 Ballistic Tips in 40, 50 and 55gr that I use in my 221 Fireball. Should I give these bullets a try in this 1-9 twist or should I save them for the Fireball and start my load development...
I am almost ready for this years hunt. I have my 300WSM and my son's 7mm-08 and 6.5x55 ready to go except a few minor scope adjustments and some field practice.
Here is what I came up with this year. Man, you gotta luv them Partitions.
Savage 7MM-08, 160gr Partition, 47.5gr Ramshot...
There has been some negative talk about the accubond and how well it works on deer sized game. I personally have use the Accubond on MN Whitetails in 7mm-08, 30-06, 300WSM and 7.62x39. I have found them to work exceptionally well.
Here is a quote from another site concerning the Accubond...
