Now would be a good time to tell Nosler what Bullets we would like to have for next year.

.224 55 gr AB
.243 95gr AB
7 mm 120 gr AB
.338 300 gr AB or BT
.358 200 gr AB Protected Point
.416 325 gr AB
.458 350 gr PT

7mm, 120-130 grain, e-Tip.

I all honesty, I would like to see some e-Tips other than 180 .308 on the shelf somewhere! (100gr .257s in particular).

Jim, you have nailed just about all of the ones I would like also.

.224 55 gr AB
.243 95gr AB
7 mm 120 gr AB
.338 275gr Nosler PT (for those animals that can just take a hit!)
.358 200 gr AB Protected Point (or regular, would work fine in a 358 or 35 Whelen)
.458 350 gr PT Flat Nose (for us 45-70-450 Marlin shooters)
.458 300gr AccuBond Flat Nose (for us 45-70-450 Marlin shooters)

Man, that would be like a little slice of Heaven if we could get the .358 and .458 choices. Then I would be done looking for other bullets for my rifles! Scotty

I'd like to make that 95grn 6mm bullet a 105grn instead! I don't personally see the point in a 95grn AccuBond when they have a 90grn e-tip with a BC of .400 already. More choices I guess.....

out of that list the 350 grn 458 prt. and the 358 bullet. I would like to see the old 45 grn 22 Hornet solid base bullet brought back- down to four boxes.

Man, that 350gr PT for a 45-70 or 450 Marlin would be a super big game bullet. Guys raved about the 300gr'er and I can only imagine how much of a hammer the 350 would be. Plus you can get really decent speeds out of the 350. Scotty

Yeah, a good 350 for the .45/70 & .450 Marlin is a very useful bullet. Problem is it's a pretty limited market, with both Hornady and Swift both offering good, well proven 350 gr bullets already... The Swift is essentially a heavy-duty "Partition" type bullet. Not sure there's really room for Nosler to do a lot in that smallish market niche. Then again, maybe...

Well then, How about a 350gr FN AccuBond? With bonded construction and the flat nose, I couldn't see how it would be a bad thing, plus it would be less expensive to build and shoot. That would be a discount. It would sit right in between the Hornady and Swift for price. I would also imagine, it would work just as well as a PT at 45-70 speeds. Either a rounded nose like the 300gr BST or a flat nosed insert would be pretty good looking. I have just began my 45-70 shooting, but cast looks good, but again, being a Nosler fan, I would like to have something capable of smashing elk and bears. The 300gr BST is nice, but I would want some hefty construction to deal with the rear end of a bull elk. Scotty

+1
I believe the 350 is the ticket for North American game, it shoots out to the outer limits of the 45/70 range at least comparable to the 300 & hits hard, a good deal harder than the 300. Guy showed us a test of 350 Horn & 350 Swift & the fact that you could use the Swift up close & Hornady's with the same sight setting, I like that idea, but would rather be able to do it with a Nosler.
