2011 Idaho Bull Moose Hunt

Congrats on the kill. How did the steaks turn out? Tender? I love moose meat. I'm sort of suprised the AccuBond didn't exit at that distance.
 
The meat is awesome, but then I have yet to get an animal that has had poor meat quality. I guess it's all about care after the shot. I had him hanging & skinned within a couple of hours of the shot. He hung in our "cooler" (a very shaded area in the tress - usually about 10 colder than out of the tree) for about 8-9 days.
