2013 Hunting Pictures

Congratulations to your dad. Borrowed rifles, like borrowed fishing rods, always work wonders--for the borrower.

My buddy's daughter with her bull caribou. They hunted hard for a week before she connected with this bull.

I told her I put extra killing powder on the loads I made for her. 110gr Sierra pro hunter @ 2730fps. One shot dropped in its tracks. Her first big game animal.

Awesome bear hunt 300WM! Your pops hammered that bear!

Very cool caribou pictures! She looks like a really happy camper.

Yes, that young lady looks as if she just won the lottery. Congratulations to her, and to you for making some fine ammo with "extra killing powder."

The "killing powder" stems from an inside joke. I bought some cci 22lr bulk pack seconds and shot a grouse with one only to have it fly off. I claimed that they were seconds because they forgot the lethality powder.

.300 Win mag - great bear hunt your dad enjoyed! Tell him congrats from us!

Thebear - good job on her part! That's a lot of hunting, and it looks like a lot of great meat as well. Someday I've got to hunt caribou.

Her first BG animal! What a way to start!!

Its gonna be hard to impress her from this point I imagine, she'll want a cape buff for seconds...

Well done.

Well, my .280 Rem scored this morning. My 2013 elk is smaller than many I've taken, but he was an exciting challenge. I worked harder for him than I have for any elk in quite a few years.

We've got birds, boars, bears, 'bous, and elk now... AWESOME!

Am I forgetting anything? Great start to the fall 2013 season. Post 'em if you've got 'em!

Congrats to all you hunters, and thanks for posting the great photos.

Great set up. I don't recall it being easy to knock down doves. Congratulations.

So unfortunatly this brute could not be taken due to the fact he lives in my neighborhood but a guy can dream can't he!

Saw these boys on Ft. Carson last week, 200 yards from the gate. Wanted to let an arrow fly so bad! I've seen more deer in the suburbs in the springs than in the mountains.
