2023 Trail Cam Pics

Last month I picked up one of these for $60.
There is a slight learning curve to setting one of these up.
Last year late fall I picked up a 3 pack of Muddy cameras from Midway cheap. They are working fine.

that's the same BOG camera I just got . I got three of them from Natchez . I do like the cameras , they take great pics . I wish I'd have bought a couple more .

all three of mine are little tough to pull the battery pack down out of .

No signs of water damage that I’ve seen. This weekend it’s getting swapped out with one in the woods.
can you try to fasten a piece of something over it , to try a shield it from moisture setting on it . a small piece of rubber draped over the top , maybe ?

I don’t think water is leaking in as it was fine in the woods last year. I think it’s an issue with high humidity in the morning and then the sun heating it up faster due to its darker color.

is there a seal on the bottom that you could remove , and try it like that ? distributor caps will draw damp , the fix is to use a vented cap . some of the distributors had a vent hole in the bottom with a fine mesh screen covering the hole . this allowed the distributor to vent and keep the bugs out .

Great pictures Jim. The one buck in the food plot looks like he has a picket fence on his head.

Decent bull on the camera. My trail camera is located in southern Idaho (all public land) and archery season starts 8-30. Hope everyone has a blessed season.

Nice bull. Polished horn already, looks like he already broke a tine sparring. He's a scrapper.
Best of luck to you this season.
