Oh, yeah, I'd say you shot a few. I hear they taste a lot like ... iguana. And I've been told that the best way to eat guinea fowl is to plank them on a cedar board, and when the board is charred, throw the guinea fowl away and eat the board. Seriously, looks like a lot of fun.

The guide ate the guinea fowl that night. He said they are really good. The first day we shot 60-70 iguanas and the guinea fowl. The second day we shot between 100 and 120. It's hard to keep track exactly because a bunch of them are impossible to retrieve. Both pictures have 38 in them.

They are tons of fun to shoot. It's my new spring shooting event. Next year I'll take the kids for two days and hit up my uncle in GA on the way home to have my kids thin his deer herd. That is a pretty good week long trip.

I notice in the pictures you’re using air rifles. Is this an island thing?
