I just loaded a batch of 22-250 with AA2520, RL15 and Varget. I am going to try and get them to shoot out of my rifle. If they don't I can send them to my buddy who has an AR with a faster twist and should stabilize them. Hopefully they work decent, as I have a ton of them. I did get about 3 out of the bag that didn't have the rear core in them. Thought that was kind of weird. A few has misplaced cannelures. No worries on those ones though. I might have to dig through some of the other bags and see if there are anymore missing rear cores. With the powders mentioned it should be near 3500 and hopefully push them fast enough to stabilize. Scotty

I have a Howa 22-250 w/ 1-14" and it does shoot the 60gn PT with H322 just fine.

Thats good to hear. Hopefully one of the three loads works out well, or heck, maybe all three will do okay. Scotty

Teknys,

If I may ask, what is your load? Velocity? Accuracy?
Thanks for your help.

60gn PT at max OAL, CCI 200, H322 @31.2gns.
Accuracy is 3 shot about .3-.4 ish. The gun is a Howa Ranchland Compact ( 20" barrel) vel is about 3250 through my chrono.
At 31.7gns I get a real stiff bolt lift.

This gun really likes the 55BT, same load but can put into one hole at 100yds. I have not chrono'ed this load yet.

Thanks buddy! I will give H 322 a try in my M700 VLS 22-250.

JD, What are the specs on your 22-250 rifle?

It is a stock M700 VLS 22-250, 26" heavy barrel contour 1:14 twist with a Nikon Monarch UMC 5.5x15.5 scope.
