The Weatherby Vanguard/Howa 1500 are by far my favorite rifles. In fact I’m probably the only one that has the newer Sheridan WY stamped Vanguard actions in 224 Wby and 375 Wby on the planet.

Biggest reason I'm considering getting a an Alpine CT model 307 is because the Sheridan plant and when Adam Weatherby came to my buddies gun store here in central PA, he shot me a text to stop in and say hi. Super awesome guy. The type of person you are happy to support.
