Nice Rig! I shoot the 120NBT's with RL19 on Deer and yotes and it is very effective. For Elk and Boar I use the 130g TSX, but I think the 130AB would be a great all round slug, I just haven't had the time to work up the load yet.

For Deer and yotes, I've also used the 100g Nosler Partition and it worked great! Very effetive on Texas WT's.

I'm in the 260 fan club for sure. I take this rifle out for almost everything I do now. I say go ahead and get the third one, can't hurt!

POP,
WOW, ya, that was a good find and deal !

I'm thinking the 120gr B-tip is going to be the bullet I try and make work... I still have a lot of powerder to try and it's given good results with about everything I've fired through it.

I like the idea of the 130gr A-bonds but I'm real bad about waiting till the last moment, then upset that someone doesnt have them on the shelf.
We've taken several Elk with the 120's and I wouldn't think twice about doing it again.

I know what your saying about the round almost going away. I don't speak Sako, so forgive me on the models, but Sportsmans has a row of stainless synthetics all callibers I believe at basically 1299, or 1399.... one .260 in the mix for $899.00

I used a .260 AI for 600 & 1000 yard F-Class competitions. It's my favorite of the 6.5's.

I never have understood why it hasn't been more popular commercially.
