I don't think it would slow down Jim. Just my guess though. I haven't seen anything beat the 300 PT yet in the jugs, other than a hardcast bullet...

Prolly. But I'd reserve my opinion to that of a 400 lb sow. I have seen the difference between a sow that big (nearly) and a boar, bigger than that. I am sure that the 300gr PT would take that hog, sow or boar, but full penetration through both shoulders & shields...I dunno... :?
